Use hardwax oil to seal your floor
If you want to seal your floor then one of the most effective things you can use is hardwax oil. Hardwax oil can be used on the majority of hardwood floors and is quick and easy to apply. When choosing hardwax oil make sure that you pick the right type of oil for your floor. For example, some hardwax oil is designed for light woods like pine whereas other hardwax oil is ideal for darker woods like mahogany.

When cleaning always keep the water you use to a minimum. For example if you use a mop make sure it is squeezed of as much water as possible before you start.
